ABOUT

Experience an unforgettable adventure that the whole family can enjoy, no matter your age or fitness level! Join us for an exhilarating dog sledding trip along a stunning coastal stretch, where our expert guide will steer the large wagon, accommodating everyone in your group.
We’ll pick you up from your hotel and take you to Bjørndalen, where our enthusiastic dogs are eagerly waiting to hit the trail. You’ll have the chance to assist the guide in harnessing 12-14 dogs and preparing them for the journey, but participation is entirely optional.
Once the dogs are ready, we’ll embark on an exciting adventure along the beautiful Isfjorden coastline towards Bjørndalen. Keep your eyes peeled for the incredible wildlife that calls this area home! You might spot reindeer, arctic foxes, grouse, seals, and possibly even walruses and whales. Birdwatchers will delight in the variety of species, including the majestic king auk, red-billed toads, and ruffed grouse.
As we venture away from Longyearbyen, we’ll follow the breathtaking coastline of Bjørndalen, getting up close to wildlife and fascinating remnants from the mining era, including the iconic coal crane at Hotel Neset.
After approximately an hour and a half of thrilling dog sledding, we’ll head to our dog farm in Bolterdalen. Here, you can tour the kennel, enjoy a visit to the playground, and meet our adorable puppies. Relax in our cozy, heated log cabin with a warm drink—coffee, cocoa, and biscuits, with a little brandy for those who wish!
The entire experience lasts around three hours, including transport to and from your hotel. Be sure to dress warmly for the outdoors! If you need winter clothing, we offer rentals—just let us know in advance. Join us for this incredible family adventure and create lasting memories in the heart of the Arctic!
