HIKE TO THE ICE CAVE
ABOUT
Join us on a hiking adventure to the glacier and explore a breathtaking ice cave with us!

Our journey begins in Longyearbyen, where we'll pick you up from your accommodation. The hike starts with an ascent towards the ice cave on Larsbreen. After a challenging hike that requires a good level of fitness, we'll reach the ice cave and venture inside. Equipped with helmets and headlamps, we'll navigate through the various layers of ancient ice. These meltwater channels can be thousands of years old! Inside, we'll take time to observe and appreciate this remarkable Arctic natural wonder. While enjoying warm drinks and snacks, we'll relish the tranquility and shelter of the ice cave.

After our visit, we'll be treated to a magnificent view over Longyearbyen, and if we're fortunate, we might even witness the northern lights dancing across the sky. There will be ample opportunity to absorb and capture the beauty of this frozen world.
