An expedition dedicated to those who want to explore the Arctic with their closest friends or family and on their own terms. The program includes untouched nature, opportunities for wildlife observation, numerous activities, and visits to abandoned settlements. You decide when and for how long you want to travel, and we will tailor the plan to your expectations. This is a bespoke travel proposal – accommodations and attractions are always adjusted to the guests' needs. Each quote is prepared individually.

ARRIVAL IN SPITSBERGEN

Arrival at Svalbard Airport. Short bus transfer to the accommodation. Evening city and surroundings tour with a guide (you can move around Longyearbyen without a weapon). Overnight in Longyearbyen.

​CRUISE TO PYRAMIDEN

Boat trip to Pyramiden - the "ghost town." Scenic route with views of bird-filled cliffs. Chance to spot whales. Upon arrival in Pyramiden, transport to the hotel. Guided tour of the area with a guide equipped with a weapon, exploring the surroundings and learning the history of this place abandoned in 1998. Overnight in Pyramiden.

​CRUISE TO LONGYEARBYEN

Tour of abandoned buildings: school, sports center, or canteen. Afternoon return by boat to Longyearbyen with a visit to the front of the largest glacier in Spitsbergen – Nordenskiolbreen. Chance to spot a polar bear.

TREKKING

Guided trek to a nearby peak or an easier walk through the valley, observing local flora and fauna. Lunch in the field. Evening opportunity to jump into the Greenland Sea.

BARENTSBURG

Boat trip to Barentsburg, the only inhabited Russian town in Spitsbergen. On the way, visit one of the glaciers and the abandoned settlement of Grumantbyen. Overnight in Barentsburg.

​Barentsburg sightseeing and return to Longyearbyen The town is small, but you can move around without a weapon, so a leisurely walk around the town before other tourists arrive, then return to Longyearbyen.

Kayaking

KAYAKS

Kayaking in front of the glacier, observing nature from a different perspective in the Millefjord.

WALRUSES AND CAMP BARENTZ

Speedboat trip to Borebukta, where walruses bask on the beach. Evening dinner at Camp Barentz, enriched with Arctic stories.

DOG SLEDDING, BREWERY

Fun with huskies and a dog sled ride on wheels (in summer, there is no snow in this area). Evening visit to the local brewery and tasting of various beer types.

WALK IN BJORNDALEN AND MINE NO. 3

Morning walk in the picturesque Bjorndalen valley, where you can spot reindeer and Arctic foxes, followed by an afternoon tour of the mine and the history of coal mining in Spitsbergen.

CRUISE TO ABANDONED COLESBAY

Speedboat trip to abandoned Colesbay, from where coal was transported to the Soviet Union 60 years ago. The coal was mined in nearby Grumantbyen and transported by rail to Colesbay, which was more sheltered.

DEPARTURE

Morning walk around Longyearbyen and a visit to one of the museums. Transfer to the airport. Departure.
